We are passionate about helping as many creative people as possible experience the joy and mindfulness that you can access when you create regularly.

If you are completely new to painting with watercolour or if you have been using it for a while, there is something perfect waiting for you and your creative journey! 

What is the Art Skill Academy ??

A note from Annamarie...

Hi artists,

The Art Skill Academy is a creative place full of artists at different stages of their creative journey. It's a place for you to develop your style, progress with your skills and make amazing paintings (of course).

If you are an absolute beginner, we've got you covered. You can go from not having painted since school to completing your first painting in just a few hours if you follow one of my step by step workshop taster sessions.

If you are a self driven artist, looking for some extra support, we've got you covered too! Our membership is often described as the "Friendliest Group On the Internet"!! We get together once a month to paint live as well as hosting an extensive library of real time tutorials focused on building skills.

You can do a deep dive into painting animals, landscapes, abstracts and more. You can attend a LIVE paint along at the end of each month, with Annamarie, or catch up on everything on replay. It's your choice. You have a LIVE Artist Critique once a month to have help moving your paintings along. 

 

We know artists progress quickly once they have access to the right skills - and that's why we created the Art Skill Academy. To inspire you, to assist you and to be your biggest cheerleader!

What I have discovered is that Annamarie systematically covers skills that she knows you will need so that suddenly you find yourself drawing or painting something that looks right because you've discovered in a friendly, enabling way how to do it. Whether it's using shadow or getting a shape right or perspective or controlling watercolour it's all here for the finding out.
